For several years now, Justin Orwin has run his photography business from a studio in rural Somerset between Yeovil and Taunton.

He has considerable experience both as a photographer and working with people.
He received his ARPS in 2001.

As his photographs show that he covers many diffent aspects of photography from commercial ventures to editorial portraiture and conceptual images. His wedding work is renowned for it’s creative originality and spontaneity.

As a long time member of Wessex Contemporary Art, his photography has featured in many of their exhibitions and he continues to exhibit locally in his own right.

Whilst the Studio remains inspired by film based photography it has embraced more recent top end digital technology for it’s benefits of convenience and immediacy. Formats up to 5”x4” are used with film and up to 17MB full frame with digital, ideal for large banners and poster size images as well as reproduction of fine art for giclée printing.

There is a fully equipped darkroom for traditional black and white printing, which remains an important part of the photographic process at the studio, particularly evident in wedding and exhibition work.

Recently Justin has been involved with two local schools, photographing for brochures and putting together life size images as a permanent feature in the School Hall and Lobby area.
